Know Your Rights, Duties and Operational Limits
What is KYC?
Know Your Customer (KYC) is a set of procedures adopted by financial institutions worldwide to verify the identity of their customers and assess potential risks of business relationships.
At VAU Global Payments, we implement a robust KYC program that allows us to offer secure services while meeting all international regulatory obligations.
Verification Levels
Level 1 - Basic
Required Documents:
- - Full name and email
- - Mobile phone
- - Tax ID or equivalent document
- - Date of birth and address
Operational Limits:
- - Monthly purchase: up to $1,000
- - Monthly sale: up to $1,000
- - Withdrawal per operation: up to $200
Level 2 - Intermediate
Additional Documents:
- - Government-issued photo ID
- - Selfie holding the document
- - Proof of address (last 90 days)
Operational Limits:
- - Monthly purchase: up to $5,000
- - Monthly sale: up to $5,000
- - Withdrawal per operation: up to $1,000
Level 3 - Advanced
Additional Documents:
- - Proof of income or tax return
- - Bank statement (last 3 months)
- - Source of funds declaration
Operational Limits:
- - Monthly purchase: up to $25,000
- - Monthly sale: up to $25,000
- - Withdrawal per operation: up to $10,000
Withdrawal Rules
- 1. Withdrawals can only be made to accounts/wallets in the registered holder name
- 2. Newly purchased vouchers have a 24-hour waiting period for withdrawal (fraud prevention)
- 3. Withdrawals above $2,000 may require additional verification
- 4. In case of suspected fraud, withdrawal may be held for analysis
